FAQ
FAQ
Where are you located?
Classes take place at The Urban Co-op on Ballysimon Road, Broadstreet in the city centre and online lessons are available via Zoom.
Do you need any previous experience?
No! You do not need any previous experience to join any of my classes, including the group classes!
What age can you start classes at?
My 1-2-1 classes start from 8 years old and upwards and the group classes start from 9 years old. If your child is younger and would like to join when they turn 8 just let me know and I can add them to the enrolment list.
What time are the classes?
The 1-2-1 classes are normally 30 minutes and take place Monday-Friday and Sunday. The group class duration depends on my availability and are organised on a per term basis.
How much do lessons cost?
The cost of lessons depend on what term you join as some terms are longer then others! Group lesson costs can change per term depending on my availability! Contact me here to find out how much the current term I am in will cost. Contact | TheVoiceBox Limerick
How do I get in contact with you?
You can contact me via WhatsApp, email, Instagram, Facebook and through the website. My admin day is Sunday so if you do not hear from me do not panic I will get back to you on Sunday. If you have an urgent enquiry drop an email to emelie@thevoiceboxlimerick.com with 'URGENT' in the subject line. I cannot answer messages or take calls during classes so your email confirmations are extremely important to have so you can find the building on your first lesson.

How to I book with you?
I have an online booking form that you can fill out with all your day and time preferences! The more details the better I can help! I will get back to you asap regarding your enquiry.

What is your cancellation policy?
I need at least 24 hours notice for cancellations but even with 24 hours notice reschedules are dependent on my availability so they may not be possible. I do my absolute best to reschedule where I can but it is really really hard when I am fully booked. No refunds will be provided so please make sure to carefully review your schedule before booking a lesson. The cancellation policy is the same for anyone who books in using a gift voucher.
As spaces are extremely limited term deposits are non refundable. A term spot is any booking of two lessons or more. The cancellation policy is the same for anyone who books in using a gift voucher.
If I have to cancel my classes can I finish my lessons in the next term?
Lessons cannot be carried over to a different term for example if you are booked in for the summer school all lessons must be completed in the summer and cannot be moved to the Autumn term. As much as I would like to allow crossovers, the autumn and winter terms book out extremely quickly and I just can't guarantee there would be a spot for any lessons to be made up from previous terms. If you gave plenty of notice for cancellations and I wasn't able to reschedule you will be sent a gift voucher that you can use to book in another time.
What happens when I book in for a lesson?
When you book in for a class I will send a email confirmation with all the details including a YouTube video of how to find the building or the online settings required if the classes are on zoom.
Can I switch my classes to online if I have booked in person?
I need extra time in between in-person and online students so I can keep students' lessons running on schedule. If I have an in person right before or right after an online student I will run late because of the time it takes to collect the student downstairs. You do have the option to switch to online via zoom if you wish but a week's notice is required so I can either move the in person lessons slightly to accommodate the switch or move your lesson to a more online appropriate time. But keep in mind if the other students cannot amend their times and I am fully booked, switching may not always be possible.

Cat Friendly!
My studio is cat friendly. I have two studio cats called Jiji and Midnight. They normally stay in the living room during classes but just in the event they will not stay in the living room you may meet them in the hallway. I just have one rule and that is to not pet them unless you have permission with me there. They are people shy so you probably won't see them anyway! Sorry cat lovers! If you have any animal allergies I would recommend changing your class to online.
